We have sourced non-woven fabric from Coimbatore based non-

woven manufacturing company. They are producing different non-woven

related house hold products and also developing innovative materials. We have

ruchased 10 meeters of non-woven fabrics with different GSM.

Reactive printing is done with screen printing technology on non woven

fabrics. Different coloured pigments are used for printing to give attraction to the

end products. After printing we have given curing treatment for fixation.

The Non-woven fabric is prepared for flame retardant finish application.

The fabric face side is prepared without wrinkles and dust free for flame retardant

finish application

The padding mangle is selected for application. The fabric is wound on

supply side without tension. The flame retardant solution is fed into the bath for

applications. The fabric is immersed into the flame retardant solution and dried.

Pad / Dry / Cure is the method adopted for application to improve the durability.

After the fabric is ready with flame retardant finish, the fabric is converted

into house hold items like window screen, table cloth and apron with decorative

details.

Window screen

͞Generally window screens are producing from woven fabrics. In our

project we have produced non-woven farbric, window screen with the important

requirement of flame retardant finish. In which we have introduced some

structural details to enhance the appearance of interior decoration

Table cloth

We have produced table cloth with non-woven fabrics with flame retardant

finish. Generally table cloth are used in star hotels. Sometimes fire will take place
due to smokers. To avoid such problems normally table cloths are coated with

flame retardant agent. In our project, we have produced non-woven table cloths

with flame retardant finish with decorative details.

Apron

Apron is generally used in kitchen. These types of kitchen aprons required

very good flame retardancy and heat production. In our project, we have

produced kitchen apron from non-woven fabrics with flame retardant finish.

The above household items are designed and constructed by us.
