Transportation Scholarships

Through the Transportation Scholarship Program, Youth Outreach for the Performing Arts Center (YOPAC) hopes to increase student access to performing arts events by removing or alleviating a major economic barrier (transportation costs) that prevents schools from attending performances. The program provides scholarships to schools demonstrating nancial need to o set all or part of the transportation costs associated with attending a school matinee performance at the Performing Arts Center (PAC). How to apply: Visit the YOPAC website at www.pacstudents.org and click on the link for YOPAC Transportation Scholarship Application 2010-11. Return the completed application by mail to Melody Klemin, Marketing & Outreach Coordinator at the Performing Arts Center.

Professional Development Workshops

YOPAC provides a series of professional development workshops for area teachers bringing classes to School Matinee Performances. Each workshop centers on a particular matinee performance and includes standards-based learning and hands-on activities in the four main art forms. See pacstudents.org for 2010-11 Workshop Session Dates.
