FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

National Prophecy Conference to Evaluate Growing Prophecy Debate

Powder Springs, GA – March 15, 2011 – "For the past 40 years, popular Christian writers and speakers
have been predicting the end of the world with little success," says Gary DeMar, President of American
Vision.

Unfortunately, the perennial failure of these prognostications has not adequately dissuaded a growing
swell of evangelicals who continue to fall prey to warnings like "the end is near," "Jesus is coming
soon," and "we're living in the last days."

Convicted that the present flood of end-times forecasts is not only misleading millions of people, but is
also impugning the credibility of the church and its message, American Vision has assembled a 7-
member conference panel to discuss this growing threat to the integrity of the Christian religion.

American Vision, will hold a National Prophecy Conference (http://NationalProphecyConference.com)

at LifeWay’s Ridgecrest Conference Center in Black Mountain, North Carolina, from June 1-4, 2011, to
evaluate the soundness of the current evangelical obsession with speculative prophecy, and assesses its
impact on the resurgence of the New Christian Right.

To provide balance to the discussion, American Vision has invited speakers from opposing viewpoints
to participate in a series of open forums.

Here are some of the questions that will be presented and answered:

1. Are modern wars "signs of the end?"

2. Is the modern nation of Israel a fulfillment of Bible prophecy?
3. Does the Jewish temple have to be rebuilt?
4. Is the "Antichrist" alive right now?
5. Is modern-day Russia an end-time prophetic player?
6. Is the national ID card the "mark of the beast?"
7. Do recent earthquakes, floods, threats of nuclear meltdowns, and reports of the death of birds,
fish, and cattle have any bearing on the end of the world?

American Vision’s mission is to restore America to its biblical foundation—from Genesis to Revelation.
American Vision has been at the heart of worldview study since 1978, providing resources to exhort
Christian families and individuals to live with a biblically-based worldview.
