Much Ado About Nothing Vocabulary Paragraphs 2

There once was a boy named Christian who liked his classmate, and longtime

friend, Alice. He was friends with Alice since kindergarten, and ever since then, he knew

she was the one for him. Christian was always in a melancholy mood, because girls

would always lead him on. He was an indecisive person, but continued to solicit girls to

go on dates with him. He was handsome, smart, and most of all, a nice guy. Once in a

while, he would show a shrewd type of humor, but it was nothing too bad. Chris went on

dates all the time so that he could get Alice off his mind. One day, all of his thoughts

about Alice got to him, and he fell into a wayward mood. He usually kept his feelings to

himself, but this time, he stormed over to Alice’s house and told her everything. He

poured his heart out to her, and all she could do was sit there and continue to become

more and more enamored. Alice never knew of Christian’s true feelings, and it was a

pleasant surprise for her. She told him that she felt mutual feelings, and he scheduled for

them to have a date.

While preparing, Christian’s best friend, Johnny, decides to help him achieve his

dream by becoming his usurer. Christian declines Johnny’s offer because he felt that he

would be performing a transgression if he took so much money from his best friend.

Johnny had an infernal look on his face, but he understood that his decision was one of

pride. Saturday came along, and Christian picked up Alice at her house for their big date.

He wore jeans and a nice shirt, while she wore jeans and flowery tank top. He took her to

the carnival where the had a blast. She wanted a big stuffed animal so Christian cozened

one of the employees into giving them one. Hours past, and it was time to go home. He

took her home, and they said their goodbyes. He walked her to her halfway to her

doorstep and hugged. They were walking their separate ways, and as Alice was about to

enter her home, Christian yells, “Alice, wait!” She turns around, he pulls her in gently,

and he kisses her softly on the lips. Alice, filled with blithe, smiled and said to Christian,

“We should do this again sometime.”
