-Inicio da sua construção foi em
1589
- The church of St. Paul
becamed the headquarters of the
diocese in 1745 afther it was
demolished to be rebuilded
again..
 HISTORIE
-The actual cathedral was build
On the initiative
Of Dom Duarte Leopoldo e
Silva, the first archbisp of Saint
Paul .The construction Work
started ate 1913.

-This new cathedral was

oficially inagurated in the
year 1954,But wiht ist´s
towers not finished yet.The
towers were olny
terminated im the year
1967.
 WHAT IS IT..?

This the biggest church in Saint Paul wiht 111

meters in length
-46 wide, two towers at 92 feet tall and It has
capacity to house 8,000 people
WHAT IS IT IN OUR DAYS..?

-Beside being a place of relegion and devotion its is

also a touristic place which many that visit brazil go
there to see its magnificence
