DISASTER MODE
All teams report as directed to assigned
staging area and be prepared to stay for at
DISASTER least 12—24 hours. Remember — Self, Family,
Others in that order. Make sure someone
else knows where you are going and how to
get in contact with you.
ACTIVATION
CERT teams activated for emergency

ACTIVATION response. Call 877-698-3261, enter your

phone number, listen to message and then
respond as directed. DO NOT CALL 911 (unless
you personally have an emergency.)

PREALERT STATUS.
Severe weather (watch or warning) or known
PREALERT threat conditions expected within next 24
hours. Check ID badge, vest, helmet, rain
gear, VHF radio, etc.

STANDBY STATUS.
Severe weather or known threat expected
STANDBY within 48 to 72 hours. Check batteries,
bottled water, first aid supply status in CERT
kits.

NORMAL STATUS.

NORMAL Severe weather or known threat not

expected in near future. Check CERT kit and
equipment every 60 - 90 days.
