A Litany of Intercession

For the health and salvation of our Metropolitan John of New

York, all the bishops of our synod, and all in devout
communion with them: Kyrie eleison

For the health and salvation of our brethren in Christ the

monastics and novices of Holy Name Abbey, and all skete
dwellers and oblates: Kyrie eleison

For the health and salvation of the presbyters, deacons,

subdeacons, the tonsured and all servers, the Orthodox
Christians of our archdiocese and in all the world : Kyrie
eleison

For the health and salvation of our Presbyter John Mark and
all with him at St Brendan the Navigator Mission: Christe
eleison

For the health and salvation of all who suffer in heat or cold,
from drought or flood, from earthquake or tsunami, from war
or storm: Christe eleison

For the health and salvation of all who are diseased, disabled
or disfigured in body, mind or spirit, for all captives, the
penitents, the poor and all who would oppress or injure
them: Christe eleison

For the health and salvation of all civil and military

authorities, for justice and mercy, that Christian folk may
pray undisturbed in prosperity sufficient to give alms: Kyrie
eleison

For all those who travel by land or sea or air, for those who
are distant from us through duty or necessity: Kyrie eleison

For all those departed this life with faith, love and hope for
the resurrection and for the life everlasting: Kyrie eleison
Our Father … and lead us not into temptation: But deliver
us from evil. Amen.
