Good afternoon,
My name is Hoang Le, and I am Annie Marie Thu Le's
father. As you are all fully aware, my faughter was
senselessly and brutally taken away from us,
leaving behind emotional and psychological wounds
that remain“until this day and no doubt will stay
forever. Though the tragedy struck us nearly two
years ago, our pain remains fresh, changing every
aspect of life within our family. Because Rer death
was so sudden and unexpected, we now live in fear,
never knowing when another calamity will devastate
us again.
However, even during our. darkest moments of
distress, we received uplifting support and
gracious love from the community at large,
‘including friends, co-workers, even those we-never
had the honor to meet. Through comments on news
articles and blogs, we feel that many of you have
closely followed the details of the case, providing
your sharp opinions which are so true and
admirable. All of you showed unconditional
compassion for Annie, and we are forever indebted
to your generous love.
When she was alive, Annie's tireless efforts
included finding new treatments for chronic
diseases, with the hope for a better human future
in medicine. Now with her death, we hope her _ hard
work will not go in vain, but that it can bring
about much needed change in several aspects:
We hope that there will be greater security
provided for all students on campus as well as
safer working environments. Also, we hope that
there will be no toleration in terms of work
violence and that a human's life will be considered
the most valuable above anything else.
May. God bless you all. Please pray for Annie's
peaceful rest and that justice will be served.
Thank you again for your love and support.
