3. Brief Description of the The project activity includes bundling of several

mills to which M/s Solutions have provided the
technology for installation of state of the art
technology for use of rice husk material for
simultaneous generation of steam and power.
The projects have taken up in rice mills
scattered all over the states of West Bengal and
Orissa. There are about 1300 rice mills in West
Bengal out of which around 300 are located in
the district of Burdwan alone. Most of these rice
mills are located in the rural areas of the district.
The power requirement of the rice mills are
mainly catered to by captive diesel generating
sets.
