WHAT: Camp out at City Hall for 24 hours, including protest and rally, street theater, music, and other demonstrations WHEN: Starts Thursday June 23rd at noon Bring your sleeping bag to the RALLY THURSDAY 6/23 5:30 pm Camp out until Friday June 24th at noon WHERE: San Jose City Hall 200 E. Santa Clara St WHY: Don t let San Jose become Wisconsin!!! Right now, the San Jose City Council is seriously considering a proposal to declare a fiscal and public safety emergency that would strip city workers of their benefits and take away their collective bargaining rights. This is incredibly similar to the attacks on workers rights in Wisconsin. Collective bargaining is a basic human right.
