G Hook Stitches: ch, sl st, sc, hdc, lsc Size: Approx. 8" Notes: 1)lsc=long single crochetmade by doing a sc into the sp or stitch indicated in a row or two below working row and pulling stitch up to height to finish. 2)When crocheting around the scrubber, you dont want your stitches too far apart. 3)I like to make sure to catch plenty of the scrubber when putting crochet hook thru to help prevent the scrubber strands from breaking. 4)For all HDC rounds you can ch 2 for your first HDC or do as I did and ch 1 and make a regular HDC in the very first stitch. Instructions: Join white to scrubber with either a st st and ch 1 or with a sc. Rnd 1: sc an even number around scrubber. Join in 1st sc. (Mine was 38) Rnd 2:hdc in each stitch around.. Join in top of 1st hdc (or top of ch 2) Fasten off white. Rnd 3:Join blue in between any two stitches of Rnd 2. Working between the stitches and not into them, hdc , ch 1 between stitches around. Join in top of 1st hdc. Fasten off blue. Rnds 4 & 5:Join blue in any ch 1 sp. hdc, ch 1 in each ch 1 sp around. Join in top of 1st hdc. Fasten off red. Rnd 6: Join white in any ch 1 sp. *hdc, ch 1 in ch space, 2 hdc, ch 1 in next ch sp. Repeat from * around. Join in top of 1st hdc. Rnd 7: Sl st in ch 1 sp, hdc in sp, ch 2 (over the 2 hdc of previous rnd). *hdc, ch 1 in next sp, hdc, ch 2 in next sp. Repeat from * around. Join in 1st hdc. Fasten off white . Rnd 8: Join blue in same st as joining, * sc in hdc, lsc between the 2 hdc of rnd 6, sc in next hdc, sc in next sp. Repeat from * around. End off.

Alternate pattern: Round Scrubber Cloth

Materials:

Scrubber in color of choice Cotton: In various colors. I used 3 solids and a variegated G Hook Rnds 1-6 Follow instructions for other scrubber, changing color after rnd 2, after rnd 3, after rnd 5 and after 6. Rnd 7: With new color, repeat rnd 6, change color. Rnd 8: sc in each st and sp around. Alternate rnd 8: sc, ch 3, sk next sc and repeat around.
