A TAKEOVER Hrvatski Telekom Deutsche Telekom

HISTORY


Hrvatski telekom started working on January 1. 1999. In October 1999 Deutsche Telekom bought 35% of shares for 850 million USD In October 2001. Deutsche Telekom AG became the majority owner of HT During 2002 the process of fixed network digitalization was completed

April 2004. T-Com introduced the MAXtv to all MAXadsl users October 2004. Croatian Telecom became a part of the T-brand (T-Com fixed network and on-line services; and T-Mobile) November 2006- T-Com is the biggest distributor of TV content in Croatia

January 2010- Through merger of the companies T-Mobile Croatia LLC and HTCroatian Telecom Inc, T-Com and T-Mobile were integrated into one May 2010- Companys registered name is officially changed from HT-Hrvatske Telekomunikacije to Hrvatski Telekom

Ownership structure


The share capital of Hrvatski Telekom d.d. (T-Hrvatski Telekom) consists of 81,888,535 ordinary shares, each with a nominal value of HRK 100 Deutsche Telekom is the majority shareholder with a 51% holding. The Croatian War Veterans Fund owns 7% with Pensioner's Fund hold 3,5%. Institutional and private investors own the remaining 38.5%
