Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing you to express my keen interest & motivation in completing an 8-10 weeks (between 1st April

& 4th June 2011) summer internship in Ernst & Young. I am deeply interested in working in Ernst & Young s Advisory Services sector, as I believe that the Performance Improvement sector is perfectly aligned with my goal of building a career in Consultancy. I believe myself to be a dynamic and enthusiastic person. I am currently a first year student of Post Graduate Program in Management (Batch 2010 2012) at the Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak and I have completed a Graduate Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, in the year 2009. Apart from dedicating myself to my regular curriculum, I am an active member of the IT committee of IIM Rohtak. This has provided me with the exposure required to inculcate the skill of planning. The function of committee is to plan and develop the IT infrastructure of the institute. To accelerate my learning in different traits of management, I am also a member of the institute s Finance and Strategy clubs. In an effort to increase my exposure to the industry, I have joined a team of 5 students and taken up a live project aimed at improving the performance of Elegance, a company in the Uniform business by streamlining its operations. During my four years of graduate study, I developed a keen interest in programming. This has helped me immensely in honing my analytical and problem solving skills, which I believe are the absolute necessities in the present corporate world. Apart from this, the many positions of responsibility that I have held being a part of organizing committees of numerous events at IIT Guwahati have also served to hone my leadership and managerial abilities.
