htm Pantoum of The Warfare Chimera There in the thick jungle, destruction was a chimera the burst of firelight looked ethereal, less like burning than like angels lost souls illuminated. The burst of firelight looked ethereal, A cleared path is the way to victory. lost souls illuminated, No wars are ever fought without a clearing made. What hides when there is no cover? Souls, of some kind, of some cost. vengeful ghosts, bitter souls of little girls black souls of lost mothers. Souls, of some kind, of some cost. blue souls of lost soldiers, black souls of lost mothers. Souls of hosts and guests alike.

A flame illuminates the truth of things; the lost are inescapable. No one is winning here. All things are lost here. All souls day is every day. The lost are inescapable. No one is winning here. All things are lost here. All souls day is every day. A flame illuminates the truth of things.
