Inception
"No idea is simple when you need to plant it in somebody elses mind." Domonic Cobb To Saito 1

By definition inception (in'sepSHn) is the establishment or starting point of an institution or activity. In 2010 Inception was the name of a 2010 psychological science fiction action film written, co-produced, and directed by Christopher Nolan that became the sixth-highest grossing film of 2010 in North America by exceeding over $800 million dollars. 2

Planting An Idea
In the movie technology exists that allows corporate spies to enter the human mind through dream invasion and extract secrets from deep within the subconscious mind during the dream state. However, this movie is not about extracting an idea. It's about the reverse, planting an idea. It's about the impossible-inception. It's a job that's never been done before successfully. Or has it? Here are a few lines from the script: COBB: You've done it before?
3

EAMES: Yes and no. We tried it. Got the idea in place, but it didn't take. COBB: You didn't plant it deep enough? EAMES: It's not just about depth. You need the simplest version of the idea the one that will grow naturally in the subject's mind. Subtle art. COBB: That's why I'm here.

Is This Possible?
"Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities. Truth isn't." Mark Twain (1835 -1910)

The great debate over Inception is still raging. Are our minds vulnerable while we are sleeping? Are dream within a dream within a dream strategies that eclipse the logical limits of reality possible? Is it possible invade someone's dreams to extract their deepest and darkest secrets? Is it possible to manipulate someone's subconscious with craft so delicate and so precise that it cannot be detected? Is it possible, by way of cunning so clever, complex and calculating, to plant an idea within a person's subconscious mind in an effort to forge the future and our own fortunes? Is it possible for several people to meaningfully interact, with validity, with weight and with dramatic consequences within the same shared dream? No, this is not possible Or is it?

The Subtle Art

"For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he " King Solomon, Proverbs 23:7 (KJV)

Subtlety is fine or delicate in meaning or intent. Subtlety is difficult to perceive or understand. Subtlety is often employed slowly using a series of cloaked clues until the desired conclusion is reached. While inception as defined in the movie is not real, Satan is. Satan is an evil adversary skilled in deceit and deception. Satan is an ancient enemy who can transform himself into an angel of light. Satan is a murderer from the beginning, and never abides in the truth. Satan is more than a liar. He is the father of lying and since its inception, like a monster, Satan has relentlessly used it to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). Satan is very adept at the subtle art of planting an idea and nurturing its growth in our unguarded minds.

The following stratagem is offered for your consideration: Level One: Recast Responsibility Lie: The White man owes us reparations (i.e., 40 acres and a mule). Truth: We are responsible for our own lives. Level Two: Alter Accountability Lie: Unplanned pregnancies enslaves us. Truth: We are accountable for our own actions. Level Three: Deaden Discernment Lie: Abortion frees our future. Truth: Our future cannot be achieved at the expense of our children. Truly, some evil can only be dealt with by fasting and prayer (Mark 9:29).

Spinning Tops
"So when you examine your totem you know, beyond a doubt, that you're not in someone else's dream." Arthur (Arthur is Cobb's right hand man, and apparently closest friend.) 4

In the movie Inception, Dominic Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his partner Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) are highly skilled and highly motivated dream invaders who perform illegal corporate espionage by entering the subconscious minds of their targets to extract valuable information for money. Each of the extractors carries a small personalized object called a totem whose behavior is unpredictable to anyone except its owner, to determine whether they are in another person's dream. For example, Cobb's totem was a pewter spinning top that originally belonged to his tragically deceased wife Mal who now exists only as a tormenting memory. Should Cobb spin the top and it topples over, he knew he was awake. However, if the top continued to spin, without end, then Cobb knew he was still dreaming. As I think about the fifty (50) million lives loss to abortion, the hearts and minds of the men and women betrayed by the lies of Planned Parenthood, the family futures broken by the demonic death of a child and the soul of our country bloodied by the hands of abortionists, it occurs to me that Margaret Sanger's dream is really a nightmare and that the spinning tops in the White House, Court House and even in the Church House have long since stopped spinning. Brothers, we really need to talk.
