2. Covenant with the nation of Israel Exodus 19:5,6 Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.

Exodus 19:5-6 Observations 1. They are there because of Gods grace. 2. They were delivered from something to something . . . from Egypt to God Himself 3. An obedient response to Gods grace was all about mission . . . living as a kingdom of priests and a holy nation . . . the set-apart ones who represent God to the nations and the nations to God 4. The covenant is crafted and the law delivered within the context of Gods grace mission . . . these were the guidelines that would allow them to live as set apart ones reecting God to the nations.
