AFFILIATED TREC GROUPS TEAM PERPETUAL TROPHY or THE KASPYR KUP

To be contested by a team of riders representing their group. There would be a minimum of three riders, maximum of four, per team. To be contested at the last event of the year, e.g. the Opens in Sept. There must be a minimum of two teams competing for the Trophy on the day. Entry fee per team: 15/ 20 or 5.00 per rider. Each Affiliated Group may field as many teams as they wish. Entries, from the Group Secretary, with team details would be submitted in advance on a separate form. The A.G. must (if eligible, i.e. in second year of existence) have paid their affiliation fee to TREC Ireland. A minimum of two of the team riders must be paid-up members of TREC Ireland. It is at the discretion of the A.Gs if the team members are paid-up members of their Group. This has been amended to ONE team rider for 2011. A minimum of two of the team riders must have competed in at least one full TREC event in 2011, i.e. all three phases of a one- or two-day competition, prior to this competition. The team can be made up of riders at any Level, e.g. all the same level or a mix. No rider can represent more than one Affiliated Group team. It is possible for one rider of a pair to be on a team or both riders to be on separate teams. If only one of a pair was on a team, then the pairs POR score would "follow" that rider and combine with his/her COP & PTV score to get a total. If both paired riders were on different teams, their POR score would be counted individually, each getting the same, but again it would be added to their individual COP & PTV scores and if both paired riders were on the same team, the same would happen. Three highest scores count. There would be bonus points awarded to Individual riders at Levels 2, 3 & 4. Further bonus points awarded per rider to placings within their class.
