OBJECTIVES
To - study about the present waste management system followed by the organization. - find the areas where maximum wastages occur. - study about the level of satisfaction in the quality of products offered by vendors - find the scope for improvements in the existing production process.

RESEARCH METHODOLGY
PRIMARY DATA FEEDBACK QUESTIONNAIRE TAKEN FROM THE EMPLOYEES OF KAMCO SECONDARY DATA COMPANY WEBSITE, ISO BULLETIN SAMPLE SIZE 42 EMPLOYEES TOOLS USED PERCENTAGE ANALYSIS

FINDINGS
From the primary data, Unawareness of the employees. The major defects indentified only during the periodic confirmation test. No recycling process. Necessity of a strict quality level for the vendors. No particular production system. No separate department.

FINDINGS
From the secondary data, Rejections are forwarded for disposal as scrap. Rejections returned to vendors in a half yearly interval. Lengthy process. A material rejection request is prepared and forwarded to the Quality Assurance. The QA in turn inspects and prepares a Material Rejection Note and sends to the respective departments. The material rejection note is also send to the vendors and the rejections are returned back to the vendors half yearly. Reworks and repeat jobs. No SOP

Feedback/Suggestions
Awareness. Separate department to be formed. Scrap yard to value yard. SOP to be designed and implemented and followed strictly. Each employee accountable for quality. Vendors accountable for their product quality. Immediate return of defects. No Quality deviation. Employees to be empowered.
