Statement of Faith

GOD – We believe in the triune nature of God, that is, “one God in three persons –
blessed Trinity.” Scripture teaches that there is only one true and living God who has
chosen to reveal Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah
43:10,11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22).

JESUS CHRIST – Jesus of Nazareth, born of a virgin, was God in the flesh (John 1:14).
He lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death on the cross for our sins, rose the third
day and is now seated at the Father’s right hand in glory. He is coming again to establish
His kingdom on earth for one thousand years.

THE BIBLE – We believe the bible in its original language to be the inerrant, infallible
and inspired word of God. It is the final authority in all matters. (2 Timothy 3:16)

SALVATION - We believe in salvation by grace through faith in the finished

substitutionary work of Jesus. All men are born into sin and “unless a man be born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)

ETERNITY - We believe that all mankind is subject to the death of the body as a result
of original sin. The soul and spirit do not die, but immediately after death enter into a
conscious state of happiness or misery according to the character here possessed by
rejection or acceptance of the Savior (Ecclesiastes 12:7; Romans 5:12; Philippians 1:23).

We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to
everlasting life and the lost without Christ to everlasting damnation (Matthew 24:31-46;
Acts 24:15; Revelation 22:11).

BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT - We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is
given to believers who ask for it (Joel 2:28; Acts 2:4).

HEALING - We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for
the human body in answer to believing prayer (Isaiah 53:4, 5; James 5:14, 15; 1 Peter
2:24).

ESCHATOLOGY – We believe in the pretribulational, premillenial return of Jesus

Christ. (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

ISRAEL – We believe Israel is the centerpiece of God’s plan for man and the Jewish
people are still His chosen people. We are grateful to be grafted in to the root. (Rom 9-
11)
