Promote!!!
Today we will promote our students in their Bible school classes, but we also want to promote our Bible school classes. If you have not been attending a Bible class, or have been sporadic in your attendance, why not start fresh and join your class today. Our classes are well-taught, and are a great way to learn more of Gods Word as well as interact with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Make it a priority to start coming to your class today. Worship With Us Sunday: Worship 9 AM & 6 PM * Bible Classes 10:20 AM Wednesday: Bible Classes 7 PM Since we are promoting in our Bible school, I want to take a moment to thank our teachers. Being one of the teachers, and being married to another, I know the time and effort that goes into making classes informative and enjoyable. Those of you who teach our small children do a tremendous amount of work to fill their young minds with a wonder for God and His Word. Those who teach elementary grades provide foundational knowledge of the entire Bible that is tremendous. Those who teach middle and high school classes build on that knowledge and make further applications that ground our students in the faith. Those who teach adults do their best to provide the true meat of Gods Word, so that we can not only live faithfully, but help others do the same. To each of you who takes of your time to prepare lessons and teach in our Bible school program, I say a sincere Thank you. Recently, 20 CD lessons were added to our church library from the recent Polishing the

Adam Faughn

by Harry Middleton GRAINS OF CARING

Two brothers worked together on the family farm. One was married and had a large family. The other was single. At the days end, the brothers shared everything equally, produce and profit. Then one day the single brother said to himself, Its not right that we should share equally the produce and the profit. Im alone and my needs are simple. So each night he took a sack of grain from his bin and crept across the field between their houses, dumping it into his brothers bin. Meanwhile, the married brother said to himself, Its not right that we should share the produce and the profit equally. After all, Im married and have my wife and my children to look after me for years to come. My brother has no one, and no one to take care of his future. So each night he took a sack of grain and dumped it into his single brothers bin. Both men were puzzled for years because their supply of grain never dwindled. Then one dark night the two brothers bumped into each other. Slowly it dawned on them what was happening. They dropped their sacks and embraced one another. (Anonymous)

JDs Jargon
"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts... Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly... and whatever you do in word or deed, do everythin in the name of the Lord Jesus..." (Colossians 3.15-17). Hello everyone, Robert F. Stroud was born in 1909. At age 19, he was arrested for shooting and killing a man in Juneau, Alaska. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison. Two years into his sentence Robert assaulted a fellow inmate, adding another six months to his term. Five years after that, Stroud killed a prison guard with an ice pick. Robert Stroud spent more than 50 years in prison, 43 of them in solitary confinement or isolation. Mr. Stoud is not most famous for his long prison term, however. The most notable work in Robert's life was his work with birds. It all began when a stray canary entered his little cell. With the prison's permission, he started caring for birds in his cell. Whenever a bird was injured or sick, Stroud would find books about birds and nurse them back to health. As the years passed, Robert went from being a murderer to one of the world's biggest authorities on birds. Robert F. Stroud went from killer to healer all because he let his love for birds permeate his heart. What saturates your heart? Is it God or sin? "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly..." Food for thought! Thank you very much! --JD :)
