PROFESSIONAL E XPERIENCE
SR. SYSTEMS ANALYST, Chevron Pipeline Co., Houston, Texas, 2006 2011 Senior member in the GIS IT team focused on business applications support and development for pipeline integrity, risk assessment, land/ROW, field operations, and other groups. Core responsibilities included supporting and maintaining systems to serve the needs of the business for map products, spatial map layers, reports, and integration primarily utilizing the PODS/GIS database. Interfaced and coordinated with vendors, internal I.T. service groups, and project teams for service, support, and deliverables for bug fixes, enhancements, upgrades, and new systems. Coordinated with vendors and project teams to develop and maintain internal standards regarding configuration, security, database jobs/processes, documentation, testing, and deployment. PODS subject matter expert for implementation issues including data modeling, database object design and conventions, data mapping, and maintaining business rules. Business Analyst role solicited business requirements and provided detailed impact analysis for enhancements, major upgrades, and new applications. DATA COORDINATOR, Enterprise Products, Houston, Texas, 2004 2006 Technical lead and project coordinator, provided direction for modeling and implementation of a pipeline data base (PODS v3.2.1) in support of various business units, including Pipeline Integrity, GIS, Regulatory Compliance and others. Coordinated and developed processes with analysts, developers, and subject matter experts for data management, maintenance, integration, and processing. Successfully executed a large legacy data migration project with a small team for 16,000 miles of detailed pipeline facility data to the enterprise database. Specifications and methodology was also used in migrating two additional legacy systems accounting for an additional 17,000 miles of pipeline data. Developed and implemented views and reports for project tracking and QA/QC program and specification applicable for many types of projects.

PROJECT MANAGER Conclusive Strategies, Austin, Texas, 2003 - 2004 Managed tasks with development team for delivery of professional geo-analytic services (GIS) to Fortune1000 retailers for market analysis utilizing client data, third-party data, and GIS tools. Managed application development and support for a geospatial application as a decision support system for marketing in the area of market performance and penetration and location analysis. Engaged in business development efforts with new and existing clients for product licensing, services. Successfully executed a project for a business-intelligence reporting application to a leading national insurance company. Data and reports were integrated with GIS tools for strategic national marketing efforts for mid-level management of approximately 1100 users.

TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER GeoFields, Houston, Texas, 2001 2003 Lead teams, coordinated and consulted with project managers, developers and analysts on technical issues regarding data management, integration, and conversion of detailed pipeline facility data with GIS tools. Developed internal processes and mentored GIS analysts. Co-developed an application for estimating per cent completion for a data capture project used by a team of analysts which provided status maps and reports on an internal web site for management reports. Data migration and conversion of approximately 70,000 miles of pipeline as-built data.

GIS DEVELOPER Metricom, Houston, Texas, 1999 2001 Application development and support for operations, build-out, and testing of a cutting-edge, high-speed, wireless internet network integrating GIS technology for 13 markets in the US. Collaborated on an automated mapping tool for a cost saving over $300,000 annually in printing, shipping. Developed an application to model RF radio locations along public streets for the Right-Of-Way group saving over $150,000 to semi-automated processes. Produced applications for automated mapping for field testing and RF engineers utilizing GPS units. Managed teams of 6-8 field testers in 6 markets during network build-out and testing. Project execution of an enterprise-wide reporting application for network performance. Provided ad hoc reporting and spatial analysis for internal groups.
