Windows
This has been tested on Windows-XP. Please make sure that "complex script support" has been enabled.

GNU/Linux
For GNU/Linux please visit the StarDict site and download the package. Shabdanjali files from here can be used. We have tested it on Fedora-core5.

Installation
1. Extract the ZIP file that you downloaded into a folder c:\download. You get following five files. gtk+-2.8.9-setup.exe stardict-2.4.7.exe shabdanjali.idx shabdanjali.dict.dz shabdanjali.ifo 2. Install gtk+-2.8.9 by "double clicking" on gtk+-2.8.9-setup.exe file. 3. Install stardict-2.4.7 by "double clicking" on stardict-2.4.7.exe file. 4. Copy the three Shabdanjali files in the dirctory: C:\Program Files\StarDict\dic

Recommended Setting
After starting StarDict go to the "Home icon" -> Preferences and tick the first box "Only scan while the modifier key is being pressed"

Interesting feature
Anywhere if one selects a word and presses the modifier key(by default "shift") the meaning if in dictionary will be shown!
