The film in one word; tragic.

In story that was told with the unspoken word of the Jews that the Nazis were filming, The Ghetto was heart breaking. The purpose of this film was to show the German people how the Jews that lived in the ghetto were there for a good reason. Although it was all staged, as was showed in the film because it was unedited, it becomes obvious what the Nazis were trying to accomplish. The Nazis made sure to show the difference between the classes, by showing off the Jews that were living a life of luxury and the ones in filth. By showing how the Jews were able to not care about their own kind was trying to make it seem like they were not even human. The Nazis were trying to show how selfish the Jews were by showing them having a good time in the Ghettos they forced them into, by showing them having dinners and going to shows, that they forced them to go to and if they did not act like they were having a good time they would kill them. It was so horrifying to watch the other side of the film, when they shot the ones that were suffering, begging in the streets, the children starving to death, and the corpses lying in the street like trash. It is easy to see that when the Nazis showed the people just walking by and not helping and not even looking at the others in need, that they wanted to prove that the Jews were a race that needed to be extinguished. In conclusion to this film unfinished the Nazis would do anything to make the people of Germany side with them in the fight against a helpless race of the Jews, and to be able to look back and see into the eyes of the weak and to hear the stories of the ones that survived is tragic.
