Settling in...
This has been a month full of blessings from G in ministry. G has used this month to mold us into the Ms that he wants us to be here. He has continued to direct our ministry. There were some opportunities presented that wouldve enabled Ian to work for an international ch*rch, but the L has reminded us of and confirmed our calling The Lost. Whenever our focus strays away from preaching the GoodNews to or building relationships with lost people, G draws us back by his grace. Along with this, G has reminded us of our Bengali Xtian brothers and sisters. We were invited to attend a ch*rch service in Bangla. We were blessed and encouraged to hear the sound of Asian Believers worshipping. Ian was able to share with them how he became of follower of J. Ian has now shared his testimony on three continents. Oh what a blessing! Surely they will overcome, by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony (Rev 12:11) Pray for more opportunities like these and for the HS to work through it. We have continued to meet new people with the hopes of sharing with them. We received a copy of the Injeels (the New Testament) in Bangla and English. This has opened up many doors to let J speak for Himself through His word. This also has broken down the language barrier, because we are not speaking, G is, who speaks all languages. Most everyday, Ian has been able to share J with people he meets simply by opening it and reading the many I am... verses. He then says, This is what Isa, your prophet, says about himself. What do you think about that? Weve been sharing with many people lately the truth that J is light This is a very simple, yet profound concept that we believe will change hearts. We are being taught how central a part The Word should play in mnstry. As Spurgeon notes Scripture is a lion! Who can defend a lion? You let it out of its cage and it defends itself!

News from the school

Things at the school have been getting busy, but very rewarding. One of Haleys students from a mslm family invited us their house to have dinner with their family. We had a great time and were humbled by their hospitality. This is an example of the great opportunities to do mnstry from the platform of Grace. We pray that we left a good witness behind and that a relationship is formed that will lead to future GoodNews conversations. Both Haley and Ian had the opportunity to share truth with the kids of Grace. Ian was able to share with the kids at Upper School in the weekly whole-school assembly. His desire was to share only J with the kids. Providentially, the preselected topic that week was Jesus is Light. Ians was able talk to the kids about what this means, the importance of truly recognizing this light, and how the kids can get to know this light in a personal way. We pray that the future decisions and actions of the kids are transformed due to these messages. Haleys continues to have many opportunities to share with the younger grades at First school. They have been talking about how we grow in our relationship with God by reading our Bible and pr*ying everyday. One of her students commented recently, How can I read my Bible everyday if I dont have one? G has pressed on our hearts the desire to provide the Word for Non-Xtian families. We are pr*ying that the school will let us provide Books for these kids and their families. We are excited by this possibility and daydream about its possible outcome! Pr*y with us that the Word would get into their family life and that the HS would work through it for Gs glory. **Please do not reproduce, forward, or post any of

Enjoying His world:

We were blessed to be able to take a short day trip outside of Dhaka by boat on a river. It was a blessing not The Grace Staff to be bombarded by the sometimes endless sea of car enjoying a rainy, horns and rickshaw bells. Seeing the simplicity of the yet fun boat trip village life blessed us as well. We will be doing some outside of Dhaka traveling in the next month. For most of the next month, Ian will be in Nepal hiking in the Himalayas with some students from Grace. They will be hiking to Everest Base Camp and attempting to summit a nearby peak. Base Camp is at an elevation of 17,600 feet with the summit of the nearby peak extending beyond that. They will be staying in tea huts at night and trekking during the day. During this time Haley will be traveling to the Dinajpur region of Bangladesh to enjoy the village areas. She will be staying at LAMB hospital guest house. We feel truly blessed to be able to experience Gs creation as we have been.
