AMMENDMENTS TO DRAFT 007 1

talúś 'sea' modify Modified translation to 'depth'. In this way, Tluscva, an unidentified
deity on the Piacenza Liver, may be the anthropomorphized depths of
the primordial sea given its position on the outer border. There is a lot
of talk online (although I can't find any academic source to this)
claiming that Tluscva represents the Roman earth deities, Tellumo
and Tellus, however this is very unlikely considering the use of
inanimate plural -cva when we should expect animate -ar to be used
in reference to a pair of deities.
put 'to set down, to leave behind modify Simplified meaning to 'to leave behind' and changed the type from
(tr.)' 'v.tr.' to 'v.d.' (ditransitive). It's looking to me like this verb can take
two objects, much like tur 'to give' where the object being given is
marked in the accusative (which is the bare form for nouns) and the
recipient is declined in the genitive. We should expect a similar
grammatical pattern here. In the Liber Linteus, we see the formulaic
phrase Cis-um pute tul θansur where the 'mourners' (θansur) 'left'
(pute) a 'boundary stone' (tul) 'to the three' (cis). Upon further
reflection, it's possible that 'the three' is referring to the Capitoline
Triad (Jupiter, Minerva and Juno).
Nuiχilna [gentilicium] add Found in TLE 189 in the female last name Nuiχilnei, declined in the
locative case. I haven't had the chance yet to find an etymological
source to this name.
