November 30, 2011 Ms. Beverly Friedman Custodian of Records New Mexico Public Education Department 300 Don Gaspar Santa Fe, NM 87501 Dear Custodian of Records: Pursuant to the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act (NMSA 1978 Article 14, Chapter 2) I hereby request to view and copy (or receive via electronic communication) the following records: 1) A copy of all contracts and payment disbursements for Christy Hovanetz including any made through any companies that she is subcontracting for including but not limited to Summit Education, and Foundation for Excellence in Education 2) A copy of all documents pertaining to grants, donations, contributions from private entities including but not limited to Foundation for Excellence in Education, Wireless Generation, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Walton Family Foundation that are used to pay consultants providing services to PED or any salaries of PED employees. 3) A copy of all contracts and disbursements that include payments directly or indirectly to any consultants providing 20 hours or more of services per week to PED. Please include anyone being paid through Teach for America, Wireless Generation, Summit Education, Foundation for Excellence in Education, Walton Family Foundation, Ambitions, LLC, Education and Research Training Corporation, Beanstalks Educational Consulting and other entities.
