The specialist rating found here are from the "13 and Above" and "Advancement and Merit Badge" handbooks both published by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines. There are specialist ratings that might not be workable due to merit badges that are part of the "In the Works Merit Badge" category. These merit badges are not included in this list, hence non-workable specialist ratings are not included in this list. To earn a specialist rating you must: 1. Select a category you have not previously earned. 2. Under the category you have selected, select three merit badges that you have not previously earned. 3. Earn all three merit badges. 4. Plan and carry out a service project related to the specialist rating you have selected and involving skills learned in meeting the requirements for the merit badges you have earned.
