Position Title: Administrative Assistant I, Content
(Temporary / Part-time: 19 hours per week)

Basic Purpose: Provides administrative support for the Content Team and the Executive Director of
Content. Prepares check requests and handles contracts, invoices and reimbursements; duplicates, faxes and collates materials; maintains filing system; opens, dates, sorts and distributes mail; prepares correspondence and other documents; provides telephone coverage for the team; responds to routine email, fax, telephone and written inquiries; orders office supplies for the team; makes travel arrangements and handles other general office duties; helps compile a limited amount of editorial content; posts comments to story pages; maintains record of content produced by team; and handles special assignments as needed. Requirements: A high school diploma and some additional clerical training. The ability to operate moderate to complex equipment and quantitative skills, such as bookkeeping. Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and basic Power Point) and Great Plains accounting software or willingness to learn. Knowledge of and ability to assist with daily office procedures. Two years administrative experience required. Experience with data entry and spreadsheet development would be helpful. Basic knowledge of The United Methodist Church would be helpful. Salary:
Temporary Position 19 hour per week $15.00 an hour No insurance or pension benefits Free parking
