Michael Roach
Michael Roach is one of the founders of Andin International Diamond Corporation, which has gone from zero to annual sales of $200 million, and was recently purchased by Warren Buffett, Americas second wealthiest man. Michael is the author of The Diamond Cutter, published by Doubleday Company, which tells the story of how he used the ancient wisdom of Tibet to help create Andin, one of the fastest-growing companies in the history of New York. This book has become an international best-seller and has been translated into some 20 different languages. It is used by over 3 million people globally to help them achieve personal and business success. Michael is an honors graduate of Princeton University and has received the Presidential Scholar Medallion from the President of the United States at the White House. He is also a recipient of the McConnell Scholarship Prize from the Princetons prestigious institute for international affairs, the Woodrow Wilson School. He has served as a consultant and board member for a number of different organizations and government agencies, ranging from the United States Library of Congress to the Russian Academy of Sciences. Michael is fluent in a number of Asian and other languages, and was the first westerner ever to be awarded a doctorate from Sera Mey University of Tibet, China, one of the worlds oldest universities. The Diamond Cutter draws on Michaels corporate experience in a broad range of business skills. Its principles were used first in human resources, as Michael hired, trained, and motivated hundreds of employees for Andin; the current workforce for the company in all associated operations exceeds 5,000 employees, with high worker satisfaction and almost no turnover. He was also the primary negotiator for company purchasing, which in peak season exceeded over one million diamonds per month, and has developed sophisticated training methods for all negotiation and purchasing operations.

Diamond Cutter principles were also applied to manufacturing and quality control processes, especially with offshore production centers that Michael helped found and manage in countries including China, Thailand, Israel, Japan, and Brazil. At Andin, with the help of The Diamond Cutter, Michael also pioneered an entire range of new inventory control systems and budgeting procedures which have now been imitated by companies around the world seeking inexpensive but highly accurate financial and inventory accountability. He is also a pioneer in information technology systems that are now used globally in some of the largest database projects of their kind. He currently travels internationally to teach individuals and companies how the secrets of The Diamond Cutter can make any executive, and any company, reach an extraordinary level of success in every aspect of business and also life.

Mercedes Bahleda Mercedes@diamondcutterinstitute.com Mercedes Bahleda has been the personal assistant of Geshe Michael Roach for the past 14 years traveling the world as a consultant and Diamond Cutter Institute teacher with her husband Eric Brinkman. She recently graduated from Geshe Michaels 12 year intensive training program in the United States. Originally from New York City, she has served as faculty for Diamond Mountain University in Arizona as well as New York University where she graduated with honors. She is a 500 hour certified Yoga Asana Instructor and has completed all 8 levels of the Tibetan Heart Yoga Asana and Philosophy systems. Mercedes has studied meditation and philosophy in the great monasteries of Ladakh and India and has spent over a year in deep silent retreat. Mercedes performs internationally as a singer and is signed with White Swan records for her popular albums Mercy Song, Path to Bliss and her new release featuring Geshe Michael, The Sun Angel. 12

Eric Brinkman Eric.brinkman@diamondcutterinstitute.com Eric Brinkman directs the Diamond Cutter Institute online and social media efforts (website, Facebook) and is building and developing their new website. A former IT Advisor/Consultant for Cornell University, he is a graduate of Geshe Michaels six year training course, teaches yoga internationally, and writes a business blog (check it out at ericbrinkman. wordpress.com). In his free time he enjoys practicing martial arts, playing the Irish flute, and is working on a documentary film.

Jenny Wang Chuan Hua Jenny Wang Chuan Hua was born in China and has lived in Singapore for many years. She runs her own interior design consultancy firm, Innovation Workshop Pte Ltd. In the past, as a businesswoman Jenny had to continually struggle to balance her family, business and health and wondered if there was a way to solve this challenge. After reading The Diamond Cutter, she was impressed by the way Geshe Michael managed to improve and maintain his health, run a business successfully, and also consciously share whatever he earned. Since attending the Diamond Cutter Institute retreat in Guangzhou in 2010, Jenny has become a driving force behind Diamond Wisdom Pte Ltd and has fully embraced what she has learnt, leading to significant changes in her health, business success and overall happiness. Jenny sincerely wants to help the people around her to be successful and happy with their lives.

Jaki Fisher jaki@diamondwisdom.sg Jaki was born in Australia, and has lived in Singapore since 1993. She enjoyes sharing what she was taught in yoga and meditation classes, and she also leads classes in philosophy. Her special love is dance as a spiritual practice. She also runs international girl aerogrammes (www.intgirl.com), an online stationery shop promoting the love of letter writing. After graduating with an Engineering Degree from The Nanyang Technological University, he worked in the manufacturing industry. Subsequently he continued his post graduate studies and graduated with an MBA from the Nanyang Business School. He now runs a trading business and is also involved in Corporate Training. He is a student of Geshe Michael Roach, has been consistently applying his teachings since 2005, and has found that they have benefited him and many others in ways he could never have expected. 2005

Candy Lai Candy Lai is an active in the beauty product industry. She is in the creation and distribution business of the beauty product industry. Constantly looking for the ultimate standard in this industry, she finds the answer from Geshe Michael Roach teachings. Currently she blends in The Diamond Cutter teachings into her daily business dealings. Xia Liyang Xia Liyang, a native Mandarin speaker, from Shanghai China, has studied English for over 15 years. She has translated professionally for international dignitaries including UN officials, international magazines, international film productions, novels, plays, and books. She translates to and from English, Norwegian, Shanghai and Mandarin. She holds a Masters Degree with distinction in Ibsen Studies from University of Oslo, Norway. Liyang is currently applying the principles of Karmic Management to her work as a PhD fellow at University of Oslo.

John Bentham John Bentham studied fine arts at the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston, and also studied political science at World College West in California. He completed additional education at Tribhuvan University in Nepal. He then worked in cinematography and in television for 15 years, helping to complete hundreds of popular films, commercials, and music videos. From 2005 to 2008 he lived and worked in Shanghai, moving to Norway in 2009. Liran Katz liran.katz@diamondcutterinstitute.com Liran Katz is the CEO of Karmic Management Institute in Israel, and the Chairman of Method and Wisdom, a nonprofit organization that promotes peace in the Middle East based on eastern wisdom. Liran studies with Dr. Dvora Tzvieli (a senior student of Michael Roach) and teaches courses of eastern philosophy in Israel. After more than a decade working in various Start-up companies and founding few of his own, Liran is now devoting his time teaching the Diamond Cutter and Karmic Management wisdom. , . . (), , . .

Roy Phay Roy quit his stable civil service job and dived into the world of business and the school of hard knocks in 2005. It was a tough decision for him and his wife as it was the same year they got married, bought a new house, and had high expenses but little income. Despite all odds, they still managed to grow their website design and marketing business, Micrron Pte Ltd. In Dec 2009, he went to Geshe Michaels Level One retreat, together with his wife, Michslle. After the 3 days retreat, they started applying the principles and seeing amazing results in both their personal and business world. Since then, both have volunteered their skills, expertise, and experience to help start Diamond Wisdom Pte Ltd, and organized several Geshe Michaels business seminars in Singapore.
