1988, Jean-Emmanuel SAUVE and Philippe VIDEAU launched this adventure with a dozen other Officers from the French Navy.

PARENT COMPANY

CMA CGM Group. In 2004, CMA CGM, the worlds third largest container shipping group and heir to the renowned CGM French Line, bought a majority stake in COMPAGNIE DU PONANT.
