54001 1906/1912 Gibson Style O Artist Sunburst Acoustic Guitar, #4917. Label serial number is 4917 but appears manipulated. Ink stamp number on neck block is 11200 which would make this guitar a 1912 which seems more appropriate. Long top crack from soundhole to butt under high E string bridge foot is open and needs repair. Otherwise crack free guitar. Neck unglued from heel cap from shrinkage but not from damage. Fingerboard is loose from body, from 12th fret to soundhole. All original finish. Missing pickguard and attachment brackets. Original tailpiece and bridge in excellent condition. 54002 1918 Gibson L-2 Natural Acoustic Guitar, #41756. All original finish. Heavily nicked, scratched and worn. An 1/8 rough hole with small crack on treble waist area from pickguard bracket. 5 and 2 back cracks starting at butt. Bass side tuners have been replaced. Nonoriginal Melita adjustable bridge. Tuners are singleline circa 1956 to 1960. Tailpiece and pickguard are original. Treble side neck binding is loose at first fret. Factory order number is not present. Soft case included. 54014 1951 Gibson SJ -200 Sunburst Acoustic Guitar, #A7476. Bright, clean, original finish. Crack free guitar. Beautiful flamed maple back. Original pickguard in excellent condition. Perimeter of all top surfaces, pickguard, bridge, and top binding have been coated and glued with sparkle. Decal stickers with sparkle Dusty Rhodes glued to lower treble bout area of top. Sparkle from body binding is gone leaving glue residue. Condition of binding underneath glue unknown. Peghead crown coated with sparkle. Mustache bridge hollow areas filled with foreign material. 54016 1953 Gibson J-200 Blonde Acoustic Guitar, #A13300. Entire guitar has amateur refinish. Four inch tight crack in upper treble bout area on flamed maple back. Crack free top. Three side cracks at treble waist area. Front and back peghead overlays have been stripped of color and refinished natural. Guitar needs to be refretted for proper playability. Original gold tuners. 54018 1953 Gibson LG-1 Sunburst Acoustic Guitar, #Y384921. Considerable weather checking overall. Considerable play wear on neck and body. Appears to have several replaced braces on back with considerable glue residue throughout inside of guitar and around bridge, which has been reglued in amateur fashion. Saddle has been reshaped and probably is not original. Tuner buttons are deteriorated. Has two back cracks, at each side waists, that are four inches long. Hard case included. Condition: Poor. Some belt buckle damage on back, but not through finish. Finish missing on back of headstock, probably from being leaned against a wall. Also similar minor damage to back of neck in play area, though none severe. Hole in side from a soundhole pickup jack. Missing endpin. Slight discoloration in various colors on both front and back. 54040 Early 1900s Martin Type 00-28 Natural Acoustic Guitar, #N/A. Construction of this guitar reminiscent of Martin in all respects but no marking inside nor out of any maker. Most likely Martin employee model from early 1900s. One full length visible back crack. No side or top cracks. Original pyramid bridge lifting slightly. Back of guitar appears to have been refinished. Sides, top, and neck appear original. Original bar frets in excellent condition. Period correct tuners. 54044 1942 Martin 0-18 Sunburst Acoustic Guitar, #81650. Rare sunburst finish. Pickguard shrinkage crack at waist area. Five scratches on top, along grain lines, appear to be cracks but are not; they are caused by dragging a pick along grain lines. Original finish is scratched, nicked, and dinged. No back or side cracks. Original tuners have been changed to Grovers. Very minute peghead crack at low E string tuner screw area near outside of peghead. Original full thickness bridge. 54043 1941 Martin 000-18 Natural Acoustic Guitar, #79925. Has heavy play wear. Top has center seam separation behind bridge. Has crack from pickguard toward bridge. Upper bass side bout has added screw for strap button. Bottom treble side bout has 3 x 3 area of impact with several cracks. Treble side also has two visible fractures and one on the bass side. Back of guitar has a large area of finish removed from belt buckle wear. Back of neck shows heavy signs of wear with capo marring. Tuners have been changed and shaft holes enlarged. Would benefit from a neck reset. Has a lot of volume. Hard case included. Condition: Fair. Starting Bid: $2,000

54047 1949 Martin 000-28 Acoustic Guitar, #109307. Moderate weather checking overall with play wear in finish below treble side of neck in front of pickguard. May have been refurbished by Martin. Finish looks rather thick. Tuners are probably not original. Finish missing at bass side on back at waist. Appears to have had neck reset, possibly at time of refinish. Some evidence of glue around bridge, missing end pin. Has two unrepaired pickguard cracks, one near bridge, one near treble side waist. Hard case included. Condition: Fair. Starting Bid: $875 54049 1954 Martin 000-18 Natural Acoustic Guitar, #136560. Extremely worn finish on all surfaces. Nicks, scratches, and gouges. One top crack in bass lower bout. Five side cracks in bass lower bout. Three back cracks. Finish bubbles on surface of pickguard may indicate old overspray on top or attempt to seal significant pickwear. Back of neck finish is worn off, dented, and gouged. Very little wear to original frets. Original bridge has been sanded thin. Cut through saddle has been modified to drop in. Reasonable neck angle. Would benefit from new bridge and setup for proper playability. Tuners have been replaced with Kluson style with threaded grommet attachment system. Hard case included. Condition: Fair. 54101 1959 Gibson ES-355 Cherry SemiHollow Body Electric Guitar, #S606 22. Strong original cherry finish. Factory Bigsby, Grover tuners, and ABR-1 bridge are original. Both PAF pickups have strong output but have had their covers off and put back on. Ground wires from the bridge and varitone control appear to be resoldered to the braided ground wire of the bridge pickup. There are two spliced wires coming from the varitone control. All pots have their covers with the exception of the bridge tone pot. All the electronics function as they should and the varitone is still wired up. There is slight fracture damage along the treble and bass sides of the neck binding area that extends from the non-original nut to the ninth fret. There is also a slight fracture behind the low E tuner where the wing is joined. There is some slight damage around the tuner bushings from over tightening which is purely cosmetic. The frets have a lot of oxidation, but appear to have plenty of meat left. Interior orange label serial is A 31658. Original hard case included but is missing three feet. Condition: Good. 54281 1910-1917 The Gibson F2 Sunburst Mandolin, #45822. Body is clean with one visible top crack in scroll area. Headstock scroll has an old repair with some touchup. There are two light fractures on the back of headstock and one area on the headstock face that appears to have a stress fracture. These are all solid with no movement and appear to be more cosmetic than anything. The front and back of headstock appear to have been refinished, possibly covering an old repair that is showing through as said fractures. This would be a very old repair.
