Family originated from Russia. Also were Jewish decent. But he was born in America in Connecticut.

Sol LeWitt mother was a great artist that taught him the basics of art.

When he visited Europe his love for art started when he saw lots of beautiful paintings.

WHY I CHOSE HIM

I chose Sol LeWitt because his art is simple, easy to understand, colorful. He can make a room more alive just by painting on the wall.
