ADJ 235 Week 1 DQ 1 The mother is both legally and morally culpable for the death of her children.

No human being has the right to take another s life. My opinion is a result of the way I was raised and the morals bestowed upon me by my parents and grandparents. Religion, also, plays a part in my opinion. One of the Ten Commandments in the Holy Bible states, Thou shalt not kill. Therefore, human life should be protected at all costs. If I was a juror on this case, my verdict would be: guilty on all counts. However, I would consider a lenient sentence because I do not believe that the mother deserves the death penalty or life in prison. In this case, I believe that a sentence of thirty years would be most appropriate.
