SELECTION CRITERIA FOR THE NJ LEADING WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS:
Must be a female, New Jersey resident who founded, owns or holds a majority equity share
of a company (Corporate employees are NOT eligible)
May be self-nominated or nominated byanother person
Nominees will be judged on nnovation, Market Potential, Community nvolvementand
Advocacy for Women

This is the individual's level of achievement with her
company, industry and economic region. Examples may
include, but are not limited to:
A description of the nominee's most signifcant business
accomplishments

nominees business
What issue or problem does the company solve?
What is the future vision for the company?
Has the business received any media coverage, if so
where? Do you have a Press Release? f so, feel free to
include with nomination form.
Who are your competitors and how does the business
distinguish itself to the users and market?
IV. Community Involvement:
List past and present community activities in which the
nominee and/or her business is involved, and describes the
extent of the involvement. Examples may include:
Honors and awards received (list dates, nature of award).
Past and/or present active involvement in community
organizations where the nominee has made a signifcant
difference.
V. Advocacy for Women:
Demonstrate the individual's impact and success within her
company, industry, economic region as it relates to, but is
not limited to:
Supporting personal or professional growth
Demonstration of positive growth trends, programs,
products/services, profts
