3. Click the Add a Web Part Button in the web part area where you would like to add the
widget. In this example, I am adding the widget in the right web part area.

4. Scroll until you see the Content Editor Web Part, which should appear under the
Miscellaneous section.
5. Select the Content Editor Web Part by clicking on the checkbox to check it.

6. Click Add
By default, it will appear at the top of the area where you added the web part. Note that you
can rearrange the area by clicking and dragging the various web parts in the web part area.
In this example, I will leave the web part at the top.

7. Click on the open the tool pane link.

8. Click the Source Editor button


9. In the text box, enter the script tags you need to embed the widget on your page. Note
that the logic will vary based on the widget. In this example, I’m embedding the Yahoo!
Maps widget on the SharePoint site.

10. Click Save


You should now see the widget on your page. You may also want to make additional
changes, such as the title that should appear on the web part. In this example, we will leave
the information as it is.

11. When finished with your changes, click OK to close the tool link panel

12. Click Edit Exit Mode to finish editing.


Voila! You now have a widget on your site.
