JIMS organized a Guest Lecture on Cross Cultural Etiquettes

A session on Cross Cultural Etiquettes was held on Feb 28, 2012 at JIMS sec 5 Rohini, Delhi, for the PGDM International Business Program 2011-2013. The session was conducted by Lieutenant Rita Gangwani (Retd.) (Social/Soft/Life Skills, Image and Personality grooming expert). Ms Rita Gangwani enthralled the students with her highly energetic and motivated communication and content delivery. She explained why cross cultural awareness is so important and different etiquette's used in different countries like USA, UK, UAE, China and many more? In her session she discussed about working, meeting, dealing, entertaining, negotiating and corresponding with colleagues or clients from different cultures. Overall experience of the session was extremely useful for the students, who not only got an insight of the corporate world but also learnt about how to tackle the difficult situations at workplace,

understanding and appreciating intercultural differences, breaking down the barriers, building up and strengthening relationships.
