I struggled with managing my emotions and using drugs. It was to learn how using drugs and mental health sometimes go hand in hand. At IDDT I was able to learn my triggers for using and gain a better understanding of myself. I am taking prescription medications now, which have been very helpful with controlling my bi-polar episodes. I go to a NAMI support group too. -Cassie, individual with ARND
