Copper Mountain College New Student Checklist

Is this your first time in college? If you are a new student to Copper Mountain College, and you have never attended college, here is a checklist to assist you:

Step 1

Apply for Admissions Online at cccapply.org You may do this at home or in the Library. 24 Hrs after completion of the Application for Admissions call 760-366-3791 ext. 4232 to obtain your student ID # and to schedule an Assessment Test & New Student Orientation. File your FAFSA for Financial Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov You may do this at home or in the Library. Take the Assessment Test My Assessment date & Time:______________________ Check with the Admissions & Records staff for appointments. *CMC Testing Hours are: Mon-Thurs 9am, 11am, 1pm, & 3pm and Fri. 9am & 11am. You will need your Student ID Number and Photo Identification the day of your scheduled test. Review for the Accuplacer Test, check out:

Get your Student ID card during the
2nd week of courses. Bring: Schedule of Classes & Photo ID
