Mission The Queen's University Alternative Assets Fund (QUAAF) is Canadas first student directed hedge fund managing a portion of the university's endowment funds. Our investment mandate is to generate returns that are uncorrelated with the Canadian equities market through investments in Canadian domiciled alternative strategy mandates. Vision We are an educational initiative of the Queen's School of Business MBA Program. We strive to create an environment of continuous learning for aspiring capital markets professionals through exposure to alternative investment asset classes outside of the vanilla Canadian equities space. We want to establish a QUAAF alumni community providing mentorship support and career guidance to all members past, present, and future.

Reaching out to Industry professionals, we want to foster a unique learning opportunity allowing students to apply academic theory to practice.

A student-driven initiative that began as a small multi-strategy fund, we have evolved into a fund-of-funds strategy with corporate partnership.
