ABOUT THE SISHYA(BIODATA)

Hemapriya, the youngest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Silvarajoo who born on 5th July 1996 always had a passion towards arts from the age of six. Her deep interest in this divine art and desire to be a good dancer had led her into spending the last 10 years learning under various Gurus. In 2002, she got her basic knowledge in Bharata Natyam under the guidance of Mrs. Ambika Kalai of Shri Shiva Ambigaai Bharathalaya Dance School. Hema poured in all her dedication and toil into her love for dance and successfully performed her salangai pooja at the age of eleven on 3rd March 2007 at Auditorium Lembaga Getah Malaysia. Then, in 2008, her parents enrolled her in Bharata Natyam classes under the tutelage of the well-known dancer and dance choreographer, Guru Sri Krishnan Manikam of Krishnan Bharata Vidhyalaya to evolve even more intensely. Moreover, she had learned the theory and practical of nattuvangam under the guidance of Guru Sri Krishnan Manikam. Furthermore, Hema have also successfully performed during school programs and other festival occasions. As for her studies, Bharata Natyam has never been a disturbance but always be a support for her. She also passed her UPSR and PMR with flying colours. Apart from that, her Guru Sri Krishnan Manikam and all other senior students of KBV have been her inspiration and role models for her great achievement in this art. One the other hand, her parents also has encouraged her to do the arangetram. Hema wants to take this appournity by thanking all the hearts especially her parents and guru who always support her in various angles on her success and achievement on what she got now. She also thanks the god for given such wonderful parents and guru. Not forgetting the other family members and KBV senior students. Tonight with the blessings of Lord Shiva, Hemapriya is going to perform with her energy to fulfill her dream on doing this arangetram. Do enjoy this auspicious evening ladies and gentlemen.
