TENNIS TOURNAMENT 1.0 INTRODUCTION

We, the students of Bachelor of Education (TESL) Foundation Programme Cohort 3 from IPG Darulaman Campus are going to organize a tennis tournament as part of our co-curriculum syllabus.

2.0 AIM
The aim of this tournament is to meet the requirements for Co-curriculum activities and has a better understanding while mastering the games.

3.0 OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this project are as follow:-

3.1.1 To identify and interpret skills and values through co-curriculum activities 3.1.2 To develop the spirit of cooperation and togetherness among the participants 3.1.3 To improve self-confidence and leadership skills through the match 3.1.4 To know the rules and skills needed in tennis games

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) There are four categories in this Tennis tournament. They are Men singles, Men doubles, Woman singles and Women doubles. The player will play by using the knockout system. In each category, participants will be given three sets of game to play. Participants that win the first two sets will progress to the next level. If both participants are tied (both of them win one set), they will play in tie breaker set to determine who is going to advance to the next level. 7) The player who wins all the game will emerge as Champion.

40. Students from TESL 5 and TESL 6 will be taking part in this competition. There will be four categories that are going to be held in the tournament. The categories are Men singles, Men doubles, Woman singles, and Woman doubles. The categories can be referred to Appendix 2.
