Statement of purpose

I would like to introduce myself as P.Durga Samanth. I have completed my under graduation with E.C.E (Electronics and communication Engineering) as my stream from B.V.C.I.T.S an esteemed institution affiliated under JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University). I always want to be a doctor but I was born and brought up in India (Andhrapradesh) where most of the decisions regarding children are taken by parents so, I have no other choice other than to study Engineering. At first I was not interested in Engineering but later I found that through engineering I can create Nano devices which are used for curing patients without need of surgeries which made me love the engineering field due to my passion towards the field of medicine later I also found that I can enter into many fields and this even made me love to study Masters. I would also love to complete my PhD in Nano technology and enter in to research field through which I can fulfill my destiny. Coming to academics point of view I am not a topper but I always stood among the toppers. During my four year bachelor course I have studied subjects like Electronic Devices and Circuits, Analog and digital communication, computer networks, Electrical technology, Managerial Economics Finance and Accounting so on and also many core subjects like signal processing, VLSI design, Microprocessors, Optical communication and so on.Among all these subjects Antennas and Wave Propagation, Microprocessors, Embedded and Real Time Systems always intrigued me My project work during my final year of undergraduate course was on Embedded systems. The title of the project was Wheel Chair Direction Recognition using MEMS Technology. This is relevant to area in which I wish to specialize. Hence, with an aspiration to specialize in area of Embedded systems, I present my application in front of you hoping for a positive consideration along with financial assistance which would boost up my spirit. I am aware universities in USA which offer great scope and encouragement for Intellectual and academic development. The process of Technical advancement is very fast in USA. I wanted to keep myself updated with latest technical advancements through an esteemed and well distinguished university likes yours so, I am keen to obtain MS degree in USA.
