The talkshow held last Monday evening on MPBs nTV 7 was clearly nothing but a fake propaganda piece

aimed at discrediting the opposition and legitimisng the ruling elites efforts to demonise all those still struggling for fair and free election process in the nation. The talkshow could be classified as a rehearsed or (pre)fabricated talkshow aimed at whitewashing the current clampdown on activists. It was clear the talker or speaker was trying to portray himself as a solitary light shining in the alleged darkness of the opposition and that the opposition was guilty of irresponsible political conduct. Nothing could be further from the real truth. The (ex-) vice chairman is merely another wolf in sheeps clothing quite similar to those have been threatening the opposition leaders with one manufactured or hire-and-act sex video after another. The public should note that embassy cables revealed last Sept 2011 showed that the former boss of the EC was involved in the issuing of fake ICs to as many as 60,000 people in order to enable them to vote. In the show, nothing was said about the wrongfulness of the street protests or rather public acts of glaring harassment and intimidation carried out against individual members of the opposition or activists. This is NOT the meaning of democracy. In capitalist versions of democracy, you can harass the government or any other body or institution for all you want without being guilty of criminal intimidation but employing right-wing groups and /or uniformed thuggish groups (a la european brownshirts movement) to make vulgar demands and show off attempts to vandalise property in front of the homes of individuals is clearly a very flagrant act of crass criminal intimidation.
