Goethe-Institut Internship Programme for Young Egyptian

Publishers 2012
The aim of this programme is to give young Egyptian publishers a chance to
get to know the publishing industry in Germany.
Participants will have the opportunity to complete and internship with a
partnering publishing house in Germany, that works in the same field as
themselves.
Internships will last for one to two weeks and will take place between
October and December 2012.
The programme aims to help develop professional competency among
Egyptian publishers and build bridges between Egyptian and German
publishers through seeing and knowing about each others work first hand.
Applicants to the program should have:
1- An excellent knowledge of German OR English. Advanced knowledge of
either German or English is necessary for candidates to be able to
communicate in the partner institutions.
2- Previous experience in publishing will be an advantage.
3- Applicants must be available for one to two weeks between October and
December 2012 to complete the internship.

be invited for interview.
Selected candidates will attend an Introductory Workshop about the
publishing industry in Germany which will be held in September 2012.
