Agency Development Director

The position of ADRA PNG Agency Development Director is one of service and commitment to the staff and volunteers working with ADRA PNG and ADRA PNG donors. The Agency Development Director oversees strategic planning for the operational development of ADRAs administration, including finance, property and operations management, IT and human resource management/development. Essential Criteria: The successful applicant should have: * An expressed commitment to ADRA and the Seventh-Day Adventist Church's Mission Beliefs and Core Values; * Have a thorough knowledge of ADRA and its operating principles; * Tertiary qualifications in business finance management or accounting and be a certified CPA with relevant work experience (2 years); * Experience with MYOB finance software; * Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access. * Demonstrated characteristics of: honesty; initiative; leadership, team player; communication; commitment to learning. Desirable Criteria: * Knowledge of Tok Pisin would be an advantage * Knowledge of relevant PNG laws relating to taxation, employee management and GST/VAT Other Information: Renumeration and other details can be provided upon request.
