Anne Arundel County NAACP celebrates Annual Freedom Fund Banquet


By Zaina Adamu everend Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr., spoke to members and guests of the Anne Arundel County branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in Glen Burnie on November 20 at a Freedom Fund Banquet sponsored by the organization.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright pleaded with his audience to strive for better circumstances in their communities and advocated that Americans be compelled to

walk together into our common future, Wright said in a refined, yet preachy tone. Prior to the event, an outpour of complaints from right-wing public inundated
