Rev. Jeremiah Wright pleaded with his audience to strive for better circumstances in their communities and advocated that Americans be compelled to
walk together into our common future, Wright said in a refined, yet preachy tone. Prior to the event, an outpour of complaints from right-wing public inundated
appointed that a racially divisive figure like Jeremiah Wright would be honored as the keynote speaker, said Del. Nic Kipke, R-Padadena to the Capital.
