connection example automatic start

operational mode: automatic start Bridging of Y1 and Y2. Bridging of BR1 and BR2.

operational mode: monitored start Connect start button as a normally open contact to Y1 and Y2 (no bridge). Normally closed contacts of external relays (contactors) are connected in sequence to this button. In connection with this, BR1 and BR2 remain free.

notes For detailed connection information, please read the instructions enclosed. It is essential that you observe the maximum length of the line (100m) between the relay and the contactless acting safety device. Model OY35 ipf safety light curtains have a switchover function between automatic start and monitored start. If the 'manual reset' function is used on the safety light curtain, the AO000142 safety relay has to be connected in the same way as in the operational mode automatic start. In connection with this, release takes place via an external restart button which is located directly on the safety light curtain. The protection of persons and material objects in the form of a warranty no longer applies if the safety relay and connected components are not correspondingly used as specified.
