edu with support and reflections by: Sherry Lutzen: Introduction: The purpose of this paper is to examine various ways in which feminist theory integrates with qualitative research methodology. In my research on the lived experiences of teachers in inclusive classrooms, my feminist perspective addresses the importance of the relationship between myself as a woman researcher and the subjects of my research who are primarily women. It emphasizes the complexity of interpersonal relationships, and locates value in womens lived experiences. In this paper, I examine how feminist scholars present this perspective and how this perspective influences my decisions regarding the qualitative methods of data collection and analysis in my research.
