The film that we had watch is somewhat related to the past happening in the Philippines and is considered to be a part of the history of the Philippines. It is also related to art in a different aspect. The three short films that we had watched are entitled The Truth about the Tallano Estate, The Prime Neighborhood Association and The Golden Buddha of Roger Roxas. The first film was all about the true story about the Tallano Estate. It is about the Maharlika or also called now as Philippines in which this land was owned by the Tallano clans before the Spaniards discovered this island. It is mainly about the history of the true owner of the Philippines. Art is simply related to this film because this film shows history based on the ruling showed by the Tallano clan and how they improve and showed the way they enhanced and made this land productive. This shows love to the country and is considered a form of art. The second film that we had watched was all about the Prime Neighborhood Association in which this film tells about that the Tallano family really owns the Philippines. This is an issue that the Development Bank of the Philippines owns this land but the Prime Neighborhood Association believes that the Tallano family owns this land and figured out that the Tallano family has the title for this land making the statement of the DBP to be a fiction statement and is argued at the trial court making the Prime Neighborhood Association to win the case. This film may be considered to have a relation with art because the statement written in the proof of the PNA group is considered to be a fact and is a form of art written on artifacts left by our ancestors. This expresses the true idea of the owner of the land called Philippines. The third film is about the Golden Buddha of Roger Roxas in which Marcos had stolen. This is a golden Buddha about 3 feet tall and weighs over a metric ton. Roxas states that Marcos has stolen it because of being jealous that Roxas would be richer than him. This film is related to art in a sense that an artwork is significant and has a value in which the Buddha is the artwork of this film making it significant because it is made of gold buried under the ground a hundred years ago. The three films has significance to the world of art and is considered to be a part of our history in which art is involve and is passed through generation.
