Journals are a type of periodicalsomething published periodically, such as a newspaper, magazine, scholarly journal, newsletter, etc. Peer reviewed journals (or refereed journals) mean that an article is reviewed by experts in that field before the article gets published. Some databases give you the option to search for only Scholarly or Peer Reviewed items. Finding the Articles Full-text or in Print: If an article is not available full-text within a database, try the Find It button, which opens a new window with links that connect to full-text in another database or Odums print holdings.

If neither full-text nor print is available, Find It gives you a link to make an ILL (InterLibrary Loan) request. Use ILL to request books and articles not owned by Odum Library. Odum Library does not charge for ILL.
